People in Yei disappointed with Municipality for reopening football

The people of Yei have expressed their disappointment to Yei Municipal Council for allowing football clubs to operate when coronavirus cases are on increase.
 
Administrator John Benson Yona confirms that the municipal authority has permitted football clubs to operate normally to ease livelihood.
 
Radio Easter callers express their dismay to the council for taking such initiative.
 
One of the callers who identifies himself only as James, blames South Sudanese leaders for paying deaf ears to issues of concern.
 
He warns that the decision endangers the lives of the entire population.
 
Another caller Peter accuses security agents for not doing enough in enforcing the guidelines announced by the ministry of health and WHO to reduce the spread of the pandemic.
 
He urges the security personnel to stop people from social gathering to reduce the spread of the virus.
 
Aaron Wani, another caller; blames the municipal authorities for valuing money more than people’s lives.
 
He appeals to the council to either reverse its decision or allow schools and Churches to operate.
 
Female students have also appealed to the government to open schools to reduce the number of girls getting married because of idleness.
 
The speakers made the remarks during the live evening show program in Yei.
