Tailors in Western Bahr el Ghazal State have reported high demand of local facemasks by the people in Wau due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases in South Sudan.

One of the tailors by the name George says, some citizens and women groups in the state are demanding for enough local masks to prevent them from the virus.

Another tailor who prefers to be anonymous source says before the outbreak of Coronavirus, charcoal traders and Boda Boda riders were the most people demanding for local masks.

The speakers spoke to VoH Radio on Wednesday at Jou Market in Wau.
