Authorities of Wau Municipal Council in Western Bahr el Ghazal state launches cleaning campaign under the theme; ‘Let’s make Wau Municipality clean’.
Executive Director of Wau Municipality, Julio Emmanuel says the campaign aims at cleaning the environment for citizens not to contract the deadly coronavirus disease.
He adds every citizen has a role in maintaining cleanliness in their residential areas.
Emmanuel calls on traders to put garbage inside a dustbins to avoid accumulation of garbage in market places.
Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary General of Western Bahr el Ghazal state John Henry praised authorities of Municipal Council for excellent service delivery and maintaining good hygiene.
The officials spoke to Voice of Hope radio after the launch of cleanliness campaign in Wau.
