Augustino lo Wani Duku explains the day reminds citizens of their progress, achievements and challenges encountered by the public service department.
He mentions this year the day could not be celebrated due to restriction of social gatherings due to coronavirus pandemic.
The first director general mention the public servant department registers recruitment, promotion and training of staff as its achievements.
Duku explains the reduction in the number of states does not affect staff of public service department since they will be under Central Equatoria State.
