Police confirm increased rate of robbery in Tonj

Police Crimes Officer in defunct Tonj state says there is increased rate of robbery in the community between May and June.
 
David Bol Maguang Lual mentions the increase in number of theft could be related to the lockdown.
 
He stresses many of these crimes are committed by street children.
 
The officer says the children are not held accountable due to lack of juvenile custody. 
 
However the officer also reiterates that cases of elopement has been on the rise since closure of schools.
 
The official spoke to Don Bosco Radio on Tuesday in Tonj.
