South Sudan candidates unlikely to sit for examinations this year due to COVID-19

South Sudan senior four and primary eight candidates may not sit for their final examinations if the country continues recording a huge number of coronavirus cases, Director General for Inspection and Supervision at the National Ministry of General Education and Instructions announces.
 
Victor Akok Anei adds that the Ministry of Education will not promote students and pupils who have only sat for first term examination.
 
Anei stresses that the country must be stable and free from the pandemic for the candidates to sit for their national examinations.
 
The Director General made the remarks in Wau.
