United Nation Mission in South Sudan UNMISS Wau office handed over two vehicles and a number of Personal Protective Equipments or PPEs to state government of Western Bahr el Ghazal to boost the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
UNMISS head of field office Sam Muhamuri says the assorted items donated will help in combating the deadly virus.
He mentions they have given one ambulance and one vehicle for the rapid response team.
Meanwhile Secretary General Remijio Hassan Severio expresses his gratitude to UNMISS for their unwavering support in combating Covid-19 in the state.
Remjio urges citizens to avoid public gathering and observe the preventive measures to control the virus.
The officials spoke during the handover of the two vehicles and PPEs at Council of Ministers in Wau.
