Director General in the ministry of Health, James Wani says Yei has recorded six new cases of coronavirus raising the total number in the county to 14 cases.
He adds they are yet to assess if the new cases are contacts of the previous confirmed cases or new alerts.
Dr. Wani reveals they are still receiving alerts from community about possible suspected cases.
Meanwhile the administrator of former Yei River State Amule Felix Sosthene appreciates effort from stakeholders in combating COVID-19.
The officials were talking during taskforce weekly briefing in Yei over the weekend.
