Bishop Loku urges South Sudanese to respect health advice on COVID-19

The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba, Santo Loku Pio, called upon the people of South Sudan to respect COVID-19 preventive measures to control the spread of the pandemic.
 
He urged South Sudanese to support efforts to fight the pandemic as the coronavirus is threatening humanity, Radio Bakhita reported.
 
Bishop Loku while officiating the requiem mass of Fr. Modi Abel who died in USA on June 01, at St. Joseph Church on Wednesday, described the late Comboni missionary as a true servant of God.
 
Fr. Abel Modi died early this month in the United States at the age of 77.
