Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei Fr Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit said the Church is calling on Christians to understand and believe and live in the holy trinity, that is, ‘Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
He explained to faithful of Christ the King Cathedral that God wants them to live the virtues of faith, hope and love to exercise self-sacrifice to Almighty Father, Radio Easter reported.
Fr Angutuwa said the Almighty God took the initiative of the salvation of the worshipers after his creation.
The Vicar General mentioned that God has created believers in his own image and likeness in order to live in peace, exercising his love, but regret that Christians still fall.
The Catholic Priest clarified that God demonstrated his love to the people by sending his only son Jesus Christ to die on their behalf.
After the death and resurrection of Jesus, He sent the Holy Spirit to remain with the faithful which they accepted through baptism, he explained.
Vicar General Fr Angutuwa was giving his homily to the faithful of Christ the King through Radio Easter on Sunday in Yei.
