The National Ministry of Health ordered suspension of issuing of certificates to people who tested negative for covid-19.
The ministry in a statement on Wednesday said it is aware of criminals dealing in fake covid-19 certificates, Bakhita radio reported.
The health ministry said it was informed about individuals at Juba International Airport giving out fake COVID-19 test certificates for people seeking to travel outside Juba.
Health Minister Elizabeth Achuei said she ordered for immediate suspension of issuing of covid-19 certificates to protect the public from criminal activities.
