Listeners of Donbosco condemn forced marriage in society

Regular callers of Don Bosco Radio in defunct Tonj state urge the public to put an end to forced marriages.
 
They point out that forced marriage should be stop in order to promote literacy in the country.
 
Peter Maluong, one of the callers’ stresses that forced marriage is imposed on both boys and girls which results into negative in the society.
 
Another caller Chiri Lual appeals to community members to put an end to this practice because it is violation of human right.
 
Aguek Kaang another caller mentions forcing young girls to marry old man may lead to complications during childbirth.
 
The listeners urge community leaders and young people to be vocal on the issue.
 
They call for government intervention to implement human rights law for the welfare of everyone.
 
The listeners made the remarks to Don Bosco Radio during morning breakfast show on Tuesday in Tonj.
