The Catholic Archbishop of Juba Diocese supports President Kiir’s order of banning people from taking their loved ones to states for burial.
Archbishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla said taking bodies to states is like taking the coronavirus to that area.
The archbishop called on people to distance themselves from their dear ones who have passed away, adding that it is a high time to respect life.
The Catholic Prelate suggested that the covid-19 high level taskforce should be given a task of burying dead bodies because it requires a special burial.
He appealed to the taskforce to extend their activities by burying those dying with suspected coronavirus.
