Police arrest people imposters posing as traffic officers in Juba

The national police service says they have arrested imposters posing as traffic officers early this week.
 
Police spokesman Major-General Daniel Justin told Bakhita Radio the arrests were made by joint security team formed to crack down organized crime in the city.
 
He adds police were prompted to act after they received complaints from public about some personnel extorting money from motorists.
 
The spokes person explains the suspects were found with fake police uniforms and identity cards and now awaits trial.
 
In a related development major Daniel also mentions that a number of deaths are being recorded despite reduction on crime rate.
 
He adds the death could be related to too much alcohol consumption.
 
The police spokesperson was speaking to Bakhita radio in Juba.
