Eastern Equatoria Youth COVID-19 mobile awareness team trains young people on preventive measures of the pandemic in Torit.
Speaking to the participants’ facilitator Okuye Sam says the training aims to equip youth with knowledge on precautionary measures about the novel coronavirus, Emmanuel Radio reports.
He adds young people are engaged to carry out the awareness activities because an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.
While a participant Itiara Nivella says they have learnt a lot during the training.
The speakers made the remarks to radio Emmanuel on Wednesday in Torit.
