Yei diocese’s Vicar General celebrates 24th anniversary of priesthood

Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei Fr Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit on Tuesday celebrated his 24th anniversary of priestly ordination.
 
He explained that he received the month of May every year with gratefulness from God.
 
Fr Angutuwa, who was born on May 17, 1964 now 56 years, was ordained by Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe in 1996 at St Theresa Cathedral Kator in Juba.
 
The vicar general cited that it is good to be formed during times of crisis adding that those formed during war will be the best if called for by God.
 
He mentions being encouraged by one of the sisters to continue pursuing his priestly ministry amidst the challenges of war.
 
The priest points that people who joins the seminary with different cultural backgrounds are formed in the model of Christ to become servant teacher and shepherds
 
Meanwhile Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe described the vicar general as a flower and fruit of the seminary
 
He congratulates Fr Angutuwa for serving the people of God in the priestly ministry for 24 Years now
 
The speakers made the remarks during the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of priesthood of the vicar general in Yei
