Legacy for African women and Children raised awareness of citizens about dangers of covid19 in Tonj.
Samuel Kedit Abiel, Field Officer of Legacy initiative said they are teaching people about the pandemic to be able to prevent themselves, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said so far the state has no testing machines, but that prevention is better than cure.
‘When starting always you begin with the little you have and we have managed to buy ten buckets for water, two cartons of soap and some other liquid soap for hands washing and those will be put in public places for people to use them’, he said.
He urged the beneficiaries to use the materials properly.
The officer stressed that all the guidelines from the national ministry health and the world health organization must be put in practice
