Continue to pray in order to have peace, says Catholic Bishop

Catholic Bishop of Yei Erkolano Lodu Tombe is encouraging citizens to continue praying for the peace to be sustainable.
 
He explained that no one will convince him that there is peace in Yei because there is continuous shooting of big guns in other parts of the state.
 
The catholic prelate encouraged citizens of Yei River to pray for God’s intervention to realize total peace in the area.
 
The Bishop blamed some army commanders for encouraging their soldiers to fight instead of using politics to bring peace.
 
While passing his message on Sunday through Radio Easter during the celebration of his golden jubilee in Yei, he said political leaders of South Sudan are not sincere in pursuing peace in the country.
 
Bishop Lodu prayed that God blesses every citizen with the spirit of sincerity in order to mind of peace for the people to embark on agriculture to boost their livelihood.
 
Currently a population of more than 3000 IDPs displaced from Mukaya are hosted at Gezira IDP site in Yei and other population of the community of Lainya are residing at centre of the county residence due to insecurity in the areas.
