Yei Catholic Diocese is preparing to celebrate 50 years of the priesthood of Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe on Sunday May 17, 2020.
Bishop Lodu told the faithful of Christ the King on Friday that he never regretted to become a priest.
He expressed happiness to be a priest amidst challenges, thanking God for making him reached to fifty years in priesthood.
Bishop Lodu prayed that the Almighty God continues to give him the grace of being happy in the priestly ministry.
The Catholic prelate encouraged those who want to become priests to keep and use the grace given by God for serving people and helping others.
While sharing his happiness with priests, seminarians and Christians, he urged them to continue supporting and helping him in his priestly ministry.
Bishop Lodu expressed disappointment for not ordaining a priest to remember his fifty 50 years of service due to many challenges.
He recalled that he was formed for thirteen years in order to be a priest for the ministry of God for the purpose of serving the Christian community
