The chairperson of taskforce committee for corona virus in Yei says, it is every citizen’s responsibility to fight the virus in the country.
Speaking to Radio Easter Amule Felix Sosten explains some citizens are unaware of the presence of the virus in the community.
He explains 25 samples were sent to Juba for testing and seven came out positive.
Amule appreciates Inclusive Justice and Peace Forum Organization for distributing hand washing facility and soap to the vulnerable people in bits to fight the deadly virus.
Coordinator of the organization Fr. Simon Khamis says their organization targets blind, deaf, lame and sick people who are at higher risk of contracting the disease.
He adds they were able to support 50 people although the need is huge.
The speakers made the remarks to Radio Easter over the weekend during the distribution of wash facility to vulnerable people in Yei.
