Police spokesperson captain Elijah Mabor Makuac says the security situation in former Western Lakes is worsening due to rampant killings and road ambushes.
He explains four people have been killed and three others wounded during different attacks in the area, Good News Radio reports.
According to the police, the attacks were linked to a revenge killing after a boda-boda rider was shot dead on Sunday.
Captain Makuac says investigations and measures are underway to protect citizens and apprehend those killing security personnel on duty.
The state police spokesman was speaking to Good News Radio in Rumbek.
