‘God is always near those who have faith and hope in Him’, Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, Secretary-General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei told Christians.
He explained on Sunday that God will help those who cry and listen to Him and do His will.
Fr Lodongo cites that God can open the way for those who seek and take away the fear in the hearts of faithful.
The secretary general mentioned the disciples of Jesus Christ did not believe in His resurrection from the death until he appeared to some of them on the way who had already lost hope in their lives.
He said many people including Christians today do not believe that Christ has risen from the death, claiming that Jesus was hidden by His disciples in the tomb.
The catholic priest stressed that God’s presence is always within the faithful but not recognized and understood because of the limited understanding and low level of faith in him.
The Secretary-General was preaching to the faithful through Radio Easter on Sunday in Yei.
