A civil society activist warned that situation in Western Bahr-El-Ghazal will get worse if the state government did not take a positive step on insecurity in the state.

Linda Ferdinand Hussein said people have witnessed the situation of 2016 and are not expecting another problem to happen as they are now in peace.

The activist urges the people to resolve problems in a peaceful way and that it is difficult to analyze what is happening in the state.

She called on the government to take a step and play its role by stopping the ongoing insecurity.

It is necessary to make security stable because people are now in the rainy season and are preparing to practice agricultural activities, the activist said.

The civil society activist spoke to Voice of Hope Radio on Wednesday in Wau.
