Food and Agriculture Organization or FAO of the United Nations in Wau, Western Bahr el Ghazal state called on their beneficiaries not to sell the distributed emergency seeds and tools as it happened in the previous distributions.
Head of FAO Wau office, Joseph Matere appealed to farmers to make good use of the distributed seeds and tools to avoid relying on humanitarian agencies, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
Matere asked farmers to maintain a good post harvest management to ensure enough food for all.
Last week FAO started distributing emergency seeds and agricultural tools to IDPs and returnees covering 2,000 households in Wau.
