CEPO urges government not to frustrate efforts of citizens

Community Empowerment for Progress Organization office in Yei is calling on the government and parties to the agreement not to frustrate efforts of citizens at a moment that they are hoping for peace and stability in the country.
 
CEPO’s representative Daniel Friday Martin says complete formation of the unity government will build trust in citizens and the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement.
 
He appeals to Intergovernmental Authority on Development IGAD to put pressure on parties to resolve their differences and accomplish the formation of the R-TGoNU.
 
Friday urges the government not use the outbreak of corona virus pandemic as an excuse to delay the completion of the revitalized government.
 
He mentions that as soon as the covid-19 crisis ends, the government should improves the infrastructure especially roads, hospitals and educational institutions in the country.
 
CEPO’s representative was speaking to Radio Easter in an interview in Yei.
