Wau Local Football Association will terminate contracts of footballers who are violating coronavirus precautionary measures.
Last month the association issued a statement banning all sports activities as precautionary measure against COVID-19.
The Secretary of the association Ponis Ukola Ponis reveals that they have made a decision to terminate contracts of players who violates the measures.
Ponis calls on clubs registered under the association to observe their players for any misconduct to avoid contract termination.
He urges football players to take the preventive measures seriously, because there’s no match or training that is worth human life.
The secretary made the statements to Voice of Hope radio at his office in Wau.
