Health authority in Raja civil hospital suspends visit to patients due to coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to CRN medical director Dr. Jackline Elia Atoury Kosi says as a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19 all patients are not allowed to receive visitors in the hospital.
She stresses at Raja hospital they have started prevention control for corona-virus in terms of health education, awareness raising on wash hand and also reduce congestion in the hospital so as to slow the rate of infection.
Dr. Elia adds the hospital lacks COVID-19 prevention kits such as hand sanitizers, face masks and awareness materials, among other items.
The director mentions that there are no medical experts on the ground to respond in case of any outbreak of coronavirus in the area.
She further appeals to medical personal and hospital staff to continuing observing COVID-19 prevention measures like frequent hand washing avoid crowded places and maintaining physical distancing.
