The Food and Agriculture Organization or FAO in Western Bhar el Ghazal state starts emergency seeds and tools distribution to people at the Protection of Civilians sites and returnees.
Speaking to Voice of Hope radio The head of FAO office in Wau Joseph Matere says the ongoing distributions is targeting 2,000 households each receiving seeds, fishing gears and agricultural tools.
He adds in order to get the materials; IDPs will present their registration cards from UNHCR or IOM in addition show the land he/she is going to cultivate.
Matera discloses that, after all IDPs’ have received their tools, another distribution to the most vulnerable people will start targeting over 90,000 households.
