Yei River County Commissioner congratulated the people of southern Sudan for the peaceful and fairly conducts of the referendum process.
David Lokonga Moses told Easter Radio over the phone that he was very impressed with the referendum preliminary results announced yesterday and congratulated the citizens for the job well done.Mr. Lokonga urged citizens to get ready to work hard and make sure that they will build their own nation because nobody will do it for them.
The commissioner called upon the youth to refrain from drinking and other activities because they are the future of the nation.
Mr. Lokonga urged women at boma, payam and county levels to organize themselves and work hand in hand with the government.
He welcomed foreigners to come to South Sudan and to work in accordance to the laws of the country.
The commissioner encouraged cooperation between the Church and the government to create a nation with peace and unity.
