Follow the precautionary measures issued by the national Ministry of Health to avoid the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in and across the state, Maluoch Garang Maluoch acting secretary-general of the defunct Tonj advised citizens.
He told the entire community that COVID-19 is not foreign, it even attacks black people and the best way to protect is to obey and observe all preventive measures.
‘Our country still lacks good health facilities that can treat us from such a pandemic, therefore it is our duty as normal citizens to take our lives and health serious not to depend on what the government can do to rescue us from COVID-19’, Garang cautioned.
He disclosed that they will provide town markets with sanitizers for washing hands for every citizen in the market to be safe.
Restaurants, tea markets, foodstuff shops and vegetables market will be left open but should maintain social distance and airtime sellers, other essential shops should always keep the measures for their survivals in the market.
