Abyei chief administrator condemns hostilities allegedly done by Missiriya

Chief of Abyei Administrative Area Kuol Alor strongly condemned the barbaric attack allegedly carried out by Miseriya people.
 
He conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the grieved families and friends of the victims of Mabok attack.
 
Alor asked UNISFA forces to take necessary measures by bringing to book the perpetrators to prevent such attacks from occuring within and around Abyei again.
 
In a press release seen by Voice of Hope Radio, it said on Monday Morning Missiriya Militias attacked the village of Mabok, 17 miles southeast of Abyei Town, killing four innocent people including two males and two females and abducted two children.
 
The statement added that Missiriya also burned many houses and looted over 100 goats and citizens’ property.
 
In Jan 2020, Missiriya armed militias carried out similar attacks on Kolom village, north of Abyei special administrative area, killing another number of people, burnt houses and looted property and some destroyed.
