Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO calls on the state government to protect citizens by implementing the Marial Bai Agreement.
According to Voice of Hope radio, the regional coordinator Stephen Robo Musa says since January there have been a number of clashes between pastoralists and farmers which resulted to displacements and loss of lives.
He insists that concern authority should follow the implementation of the Agreement to ensure safety of civilians.
Robo mentions such deeds pauses insecurities between communities and hence requires urgent resolution.
The coordinator urges the pastoralists and farmers to resolve their issues according to the resolution of the Marial Bai Agreement.
The regional coordinator encourages both communities to report any misunderstanding or issues to the concern authorities.
