A delegation of peace initiative arrives in Tonj to brief people about the upcoming peace dialogue in a few weeks.
The team made up of six members say they were to prepare people for the high level delegation that is expected to arrive from Juba soon.
Speaking to Don Bosco radio, the team leader Morris Mabior explains the upcoming peace initiative is meant to restore durable peace among conflicting communities of Tonj South and Tonj East.
He mentions that they had consultative meeting with local authorities on security and administrative issues in greater Tonj.
The peace initiative members consist of Members of Parliaments, community leaders and heads of youth associations in greater Tonj.
There has been series of communal conflict in greater Tonj since the beginning of the year with loss of lives and properties.
