Thirty-five people were in contact with the first covid-19 case, says official

High level taskforce committee on covid-19 says thirty five people voluntarily reported themselves for being in contact with the first case of coronavirus patient.
 
Deputy Chair of the committee Dr Riek Machar told the press on Tuesday that all of them are in self-isolation.
 
He adds all UN personnel are also in self isolation at their private residents except senior staffs are allowed to carry on with urgent duties.
 
‘There are samples from different parts of the country like; Maban, Aweil, Paryang, Pamiir, Torit and Agok in the laboratory for testing’, Teny discloses.
 
‘The teams are monitoring closely anybody showing similar symptoms for the virus in all parts of the country, the samples will be tested in the national laboratory, he stresses.
 
The First Vice President mentions that the Internally Displaced Persons at protection of Civilian sites should be quarantine. 
 
The official was speaking on Tuesday after Inter Governmental Authority on Development IGA gave a cheque of 100 thousands US dollars as its contributions to fight COVID-19.
