The police spokesperson commends bereaved family of a man killed in Maleng-agok last week for not taking the law in their hands.
According to Good News radio, Captain Mabor Makuac says the culprit has been arrested and is under investigation at the police custody in Rumbek.
He encourages people of Lakes state to collaborate with government to apprehend law breakers.
Captain Mabor also appreciates the family of the accused for handing him over to the authorities.
On Sunday two people were ambushed at Maper Rumbek road and during the incident one person was shot dead and another was seriously wounded.
The police spokesperson was speaking to Good News radio in Rumbek.
