State ministry begins contact tracing for COVID-19 Patient

Eastern Equatoria state ministry of health starts tracing people who might have been in physical contact with the Corona virus patient in Juba. 
 
Talking to the press after COVID-19 taskforce meeting on Monday Director General Dr. Elijio Omoro says, one person suspected to have been in contact with the patient in Juba has been identified.
 
He mentions the case management subcommittee together with World Health Organization or WHO collected a sample from the contact and was sent to Juba for testing.
 
The director admits that the country faces a big challenge since it has only one laboratory for testing in the country.
 
The director general encourages people to frequently wash hands, avoid public gathering and handshaking as preventive measure to COVID-19.
