Parish Priest of Christ the King Tom Poru Martin on Sunday regretted that Christians are hungry and missing the spiritual food of the creator due to the suspension of communal prayers as a measure of containing COVID-19.

He explained that the faithful who take Holy Communion have missed it for two weeks and they are unhappy because of the continued threats of Covid-19.

Fr Poru advised the worshipers that priests are celebrating masses through the Radio in order to strengthen the faith of Christians during the difficult moment of Covid-19.

The Priest told the faithful that they are in the hearts of the priests that is why they are praying for them.

He said that no one in the world can stop prayers, only communal prayers that bring a number of people together was discouraged to prevent rapid spread of corona virus.

The catholic priest was preaching on Sunday at Radio Easter in Yei.
