South Sudan Red Cross in Wau Communication officer and Volunteers’ Management Paul John said they on Tuesday launched COVID-19 awareness.
He said they have started risk communication and community engagement on COVID-19 awareness, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
John added that they have trained 30 volunteers on COVID-19 awareness.
John said all should participate in giving awareness to ensure that no corona virus case in South Sudan through precaution measure.
He added that SSRC, Wau branch awareness cannot cover all rural areas due to little number of volunteers.
The official made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio in Wau.
