Director General in the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare in Western Bhar-El-Ghazal state is urging parents to take good care of their children and adhere to precautionary measures against COVID-19.
Ann Daniel Ali says there is no charity organizations distributing hygiene kits to people it’s everybody’s responsibility to take care, Voice of Hope radio reports.
The director urges mothers to clean their houses and make sure children wash their hands especially after playing.
She calls on families to take care of mentally ill people and minimize their movement since they are at high risk of getting the virus.
The director encourages people to stop ignoring the precautionary measures against COVID-19.
The official made the remarks to Voice of Hope radio on Wednesday at her office in Wau.
