Midwife urges pregnant women to go for antenatal care

A registered midwife in Tonj civil hospital Albino Odom is calling on pregnant women to attend antenatal care.
 
According to Don Bosco Radio, Albino stresses that visiting the hospital is essential for pregnant women because they can be sensitize on family planning, hygiene and diet during pregnancy.
 
He adds it’s also crucial for pregnant women to visit hospital regularly because various tests are carried out and complications may be detected early. 
 
The midwife further stresses that during ANC they also check the weight, height and blood pressure of the mother and plan for a successful delivery.
 
The midwife made the marks to Don Bosco radio at the hospital in Tonj.
