Finance and admin officer of Kiir Mayardit Women’s Hospital was killed by unknown gunmen on Sunday evening in Rumbek Town.
Police Spokesperson, Captain Mabor Makuac says the deceased was shot dead around 8: 00 Pm while going home in Akuac.
He adds investigation is still ongoing to bring the culprits to book.
Captain Makuac calls on national government to conduct disarmament of civilians to stop revenge killing and looting in Rumbek.
Meanwhile the hospital director Dr Ali Dhamir describes the death of their staff as great lost to the institution and the family.
He urges government to improve security and end ruthless killing of civilians in town.
Last week similar incident also happened where a student from Savannah high school was killed in Rumbek Market.
Four police officers allegedly involved in the killing of the student are under investigations.
