Secretary General of defunct Tonj State, Gabriel Awan Makuoc is advising communities to observe presidential order banning social gathering to contain coronavirus.

Don Bosco Radio quoted him telling people to avoid grouping and have occasions bring many individuals together.

Awan reminded people that life is more important than any other privilege.

The only way to prevent the virus is by following the guidelines provided by the ministry of health and World Health Organization, he stressed.

The Secretary-General told Don Bosco Radio on Saturday that there is no confirmed case of corona virus yet in South Sudan, but taking precautionary measures can keep the virus away in Tonj.
