Western Bahr el Ghazal State Police Commissioner in Wau, Major General Samuel Ajuong Chour has warned citizens against violating the presidential decree of curfew all over the country to prevent coronavirus.
He said the organized forces are implementing the decree for the safety of South Sudanese.
Major General Ajuong explained that the decree is exceptional for sick personnel going to hospital at night, hospital workers and journalists working at night shifts.
The Police Commissioner said they ordered the soldiers in the training centres in Western Bahr el Ghazal to avoid gatherings, shaking hands and physical contacts.
Major General Samuel Ajoung Chuor made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio on Thursday in Wau.
