Ministry of Health discloses its readiness to fight corona virus

Ministry of Health in Western Bahr el Ghazal State and its partners are ready to fight corona virus, disclosed, Director-General Dr James Ambrose Ucin.
 
He said corona virus is one of the dangerous viruses that can affects the population and kills people if there is no quick response, Voice of Hope radio reported.
 
Dr. Ambrose explained that corona virus has a set of symptoms including difficulty in breathing, high fever and cough.
 
The director-general revealed that the virus can be transmitted through greetings, physical contact, crowded places, markets and social gatherings especially during festivals.
 
The doctor added that the virus enters a body through the opening in the body such as eyes, mouth and ears.
 
Ucin mentioned that at the moment South Sudan does not have corona virus case, but there are suspected cases.
 
There is a confirmed corona virus cases in the neighboring countries of the Sudan, Kenya and Uganda and Egypt.
 
He advised citizens to maintain their hygiene and avoid mass gathering places to avoid contracting the virus.
 
The Director-General in the Ministry of Health made these remarks to Voice of Hope radio in Wau.
