UNMISS trains members of Women Peace Network in Tonj

United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS organized one-day workshop for newly established thirty women for peace network in former defunct Tonj State.
 
The purpose of the course was to sensitize the new network on its role in peace building in Tonj region and South Sudan in general.
 
UNMISS Civil Affairs Unit representative in Kwajok, Ajok Lino, during the launch of the network noted that the network is to bring women together as advocates for peace.
 
Participant Adut Manyuol applauded UNMISS for setting up the network where to be a platform to promote peace messages.
 
Women peace network is a newly entity established by UNMSS across South Sudan to bring women together to act as peace messengers.
