Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Juba Archbishop Emeritus Paolino Lukudu Loro is urging all faithful to be calm and restrain from violence.
The call came on Tuesday following the announcement of the installation of the new Archbishop of Juba Stephen Ameyu martin Mulla.
He expressed sadness to hear that some believers and church personnel were wounded due to violence that took place on Sunday at St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator.
Archbishop Emeritus Lukudu appealed to all priests and the faithful to avoid violence, discouraging youth from aggressive activities in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba.
He asked priest who left their communities to immediately return home and work together with fellow priests.
The Catholic prelate appeals to all Christians to put love into action to be ready to receive God’s grace and be ready to celebrate Easter together.
