The women in Tonj South County turned out in their big number to join globe on international women’s day under the theme: ‘Promoting gender equality and recognized their achievement in everything they have do’.
Director-General in the Ministry of Education of defunct Tonj State, Manyang Tak Athuai, described women as special role models in the world, Don Bosco Radio reported.
UMISS representative from Kuajok filed office said the day is to recognize women achievements politically, economically and cooking activities.
The official encouraged women to participate fully in all activities instead of cooking alone or take care of children they have to be consider in everything.
They celebration brought together all women, youth representatives, school children and government official in the town.
