Wau Diocesan Coordinator condemns reaction of faithful of Juba

The Diocesan Administrator of Catholic Diocese of Wau condemned the reaction and behaviours being done by the faithful of Archdiocese of Juba in regards to the confirmation of the new Archbishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mula to replace the retired Archbishop Paulino Lukudu Loro.
 
Fr. Marko Mangu Odelio said what is happening in Juba is not Christianity because Christians should listens and follow what the Pope said.
 
He called on the faithful to refrain from all the tribal mentality and the acts they are doing in Juba.
 
Fr Mangu regretted the shameful acts of beating the priest, describing it as shameful behaviours to be recorded in the history of the Catholic Church for the first time.
 
He added that Christians should not be manipulated by the priests who want to fulfil their hidden agenda.
 
The Diocesan Administrator called on Christians to be united under Catholic Church and live a free life from tribalism and hatred for the growth of the church and faith.
 
He urged faithful to pray and support the newly appointed Archbishop of Juba.
 
Fr Nicholas Kiri was beaten on Sunday after announcing to the faithful the confirmation of the new Archbishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla.
