Priest of Sacred Heart Parish in Tonj, Fr. Joseph Khan said the world is becoming so proud neglecting God which resulted into calamities and diseases like corona-virus.
He urged Christians to be humble and repent by asking God for pardon and forgiveness, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Fr. Khan encouraged Christians to pray harder for corona-virus to die and have quick discovery of its medicine.
”Different calamities and diseases especially corona-virus are signs that show that we are far away from God and also the consequences that we have destroyed the environment and its nature’, Fr. Khan said.
The priest invited Christians to pray within 40 days of Lent for God to give people the grace and companion in their lives.
