Director General in the Yei Defunct Education Ministry Juan Margret on Friday declared South Sudan results of the secondary certificate exams.
She announced that girls performed better than boys with 82.3 percent in the exams compared to 73.4 percent pass.
The director-general said in the beginning the ministry was worried that the student would not perform well because the exams was abrupt and near Christmas.
Margret congratulated the government secretariat, security personnel and head teachers for ensuring monitoring the exams and cooperating during the exams.
The director general advised the students to focus ahead continuing with studies and learn more to gain good results in the near future.
She urged parents to support their children in school in order to realize better results in the next exams.
The speaker made the remarks on Friday during the declaration of the exams’ results for 2019/2020.
